what an idiot - video of the cat swimming appeear to be along the edge of the pool where it's clearly looking for a way out. At the one minute mark you can see that Gene can hardly dive himself - it looks like he's trying to ride a bike underwater (classic rookie diver motor skills). Why do people insist on doing these things to pets - certainly has nothing to do with the animal interest.

"Scuba diving cat" is a quite interesting video.I like to know what is the purpose of doing this?
