Beach foam engulfs coastal town

Sea foam lathered a coastal town in England in December. It's hard to believe how much foam, check out the picture (right).

This isn't the first time foam has covered a coastal area, more pictures from Australia show this type of mess. Apparently it's natural, caused by decaying algae whipped by the wind into mousse.
