Ice, ice, baby

Or is it no ice, no ice, baby? Either way, Vanilla Ice has no future. Those big white floating things and the pale rapper are both going, going, gone.

The arctic ice cap will melt sooner than expected, according to the latest research.

And in the here and now, the fabled northwest passage now exists ice free, for the first time since humans have cared. If only the intrepid explorers had waited a couple of hundred years, they would have found it.

Losing Ice is the visible part of some of the changes that are already happening in oceans due to climate change. The scary part is under the surface. This has significant consequences for grey whales, check back on Monday for some hot news that will leave you cold.

"big white floating things" could also refer to polar bears, but i think the outcome is roughly the same as ice... going, going, gone...
