Man imitates seabird, dives on fish from helicopter

Matt Watson calls himself the gannet man--he dives from the sky (out of a helicopter) and lands on top of a big marlin in the water, grabs ahold of the fish and hangs on. Unbelievable. This is extreme fishing at its most extreme.

You have to see it to believe it

...but even after you see it, you still won't believe it...

I'm not sure what to say about that.

Seems fishy. However, this type of helicopter fishing is apparently real.

And I thought some of my relatives did crazy things while fishing...

Jason, are you suggesting that somebody would actually FAKE something like this? You must be kidding!

It is no fake. See 'Mad' Matt catch marlin from a surfboard, a jetski and more, on his show The Ultimate Fishing Show in New Zealand. http://www.thefishingshow.co.nz/

I don't think this is fake. Insane yes, fake no.

I'm frankly more amazed that they got the shot than they got the fish. He jumps on fish (good indian name) after the cameraman's already in the water, so there's quite a bit of coordination going on. And what happened to the sunglasses? Just curious.
